If you want to do something really basic, and you just the radio mechanism
to establish a connection but you do not want to be fully Bluetooth
compliant then this is feasible.

Using something like an ericsson module will fit your requirements, see
mobile.ericsson.se/bluetooth

device and so far it's a real pain.  Is bluetooth
low level enough for something like this ?
Or would this be putting out a match with
