Hi all,

What is the cheapest PIC? I see 12C508A selling for
about $1.5 a piece in small quantities. Is there any
PIC cheaper than this? If so, what is it and where I
can buy it?

Also, any help in finding the cheapest board house for
prototype quantity that resides in North America (no
Bulgaria, please) will be greatly appreciated. The
board will be 1 or 2 panels, panelized with multiple
PCB with route and retain or scoring between the PCB,
2 layers, big traces and vias to reduce cost. They
must be able to make PIC footprints (SO8, etc).
