     Perhaps it is broke from your point of view, but if everything else is
working fine and I use a different method to detect if a slave is present or
not I don't consider it broke. I spent days trying to nail it down and then
one day just decided not to bother, if it works perfectly except for that
then why tempt fate? TTYL
