hi everyone, I am intending to implement the function of mapping into my robot. I am thinking of using a normal mouse and connecting it to the front of my 2-wheeled robot performing like a raster wheel. All I need to do is to keep the left button always clicked and in that case, I can view where my robot has moved using a simple MS Paint program on the external PC. I will be using RF communication as the means of data transfer. The mouse is an old serial port type. I would like to ask if this idea is feasible for a mapping function?? If not, can anyone tell me how to implement the function of mapping on my 2 wheeled robot without complicating the whole design.
