I have built a couple of metal detectors over the years (and even some circuits that were sensitive to metal when they were not supposed to be!) and I know they will detect other things such as water, especially if it conducts electricity and will produce some type of inductance. I would like to know specifically with "door frame" type metal detectors if they will pick up carbon fibre. I don't even know how conductive most carbon fibre composites are. If no-one knows about the metal detector, I might have to trot down to the local airport with some samples! ;o) -Roman -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
