Is there an alternative to MPLAB for programming a 16f877 through the Microchip ICD board?
I am happy with the hardware, but the Windows software is not very nice. I need to get my bootloader
on to the chips before downloading the main code, and I don't really want to inflict MPLAB on the
guys in production if I can avoid it

Something command line & DOS would be nice, so I can wrap the whole lot up in a single batch file
for them... They don't have a Linux machine AFAIK.
