I would suggest that you go to www.amplepower.com. They have a tutorial on charging batteries - and it is not a simple matter if you want to get the maximum charge into a battery and the maximum life out of a battery. I have been doing a lot of reading on the subject lately as it pertains to life on a sailboat - where you typically only have 12 volts available. David V.
