What version of Netscape, and which OS? There should be at least a prefs.js under the user's directory, for example: C:\Program Files\Netscape\users\user_name\prefs.js. Netscape won't ask if want it as default unless that value is set to 'false'. -----Original Message----- From: Sean Breheny [mailto:shb7@CORNELL.EDU] Sent: Monday, November 20, 2000 3:48 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [OT]: Default Browser Thanks to all who responded, but unfortunately, something is different on this machine than the usual. IE's "check for default" option is already disabled. I can't find any such option for Netscape, but there is no prefs.js file on the machine, either. Any ideas?
