Does anyone know the maximum speed of a MAX3100 UART? The datasheets simply
say it can do 230K with a 1.8\3.6MHz crystal. But it doesn't state the
maximum crystal speed. I would like to run a 2MHz (at 1X) clock with 1X Baud
Rate Generator to give 250K TX\RX speeds. Does anyone know if this is
possible? The supply current vs clock speed appears to have data for such
clock speeds but...
