This is also due to QP encoding, since '=' is the escape char, then any actual '=' is encoded to '=3D'. If the header gets dropped then you are left with 'X =3D X + 1', and '=20' (trailing spaces) at the ends of lines and other weirdness. On Tue, 7 Nov 2000, Peter L.
