Nope, it's been in development for three years! That part's fixed though.
It's a very deliberate process, with some rather un-cooperative vendors.

The latest proto begins field testing today, as a matter of fact.

However, another is in the brew now, which has HUGE quantity potential.
It also has much fewer constraints, having been designed from the ground
up, rather than being "Evolved" out of available bits.
