Try http://www.freewave.com

They make a series of really nice frequency hopping RS-232 point to point RF
equipment.  Their on-air bandwidth is a true 115.2 Kbps.

Couple one of their DGR series to your laptop's serial port, and another to
an external Modem, and you are golden.
