Hee hee! Those of us with modern sportbikes have difficulty here with
the speed laws... I do 260kph on the racetrack on ride days, and
normally never go over about 160kph on the deserted country roads.
Occasionally squirted it up to about 230 on the road, all too easy to
forget when you're chasing your friend and you are both riding 150hp
motorbikes. :o)
For $10,000 US now you can buy a new motorbike that will outperform
a Ferrari or Dodge Viper. Bikes have got crazy in the last five
years. Looks like for 2001 they are speed limiting the bikes to
180mph and each year after, this figure is to go down. We are enjoying
it while it lasts!
Wow! Never expected my two favorite hobbies to get tied together
on this list, that's for sure! :o)
