Hmm ... Never thought of it.  Voltage-rise that is.  I will have to try
(check) that one too.

The 2.5 volts was the lowes voltage with a working I2C -bus.  It's allowed
to drop to 1.0 volts without it.  So, I take it that I'm on the safe-side
..
