I use a Win98 machine that has never crashed (in the 2 months since
it was installed). Why? It only runs the Windows tools (notepad, hyperterm
etc) and MSVC++. Most Windows machines run games, IE, etc. It isn't that
98 is buggy - it just lets other buggy programs crash the system, and crashes
if you overload it.

Hardware is not often the problem. Drivers, yes - but 10 million multi-boot
users can't be wrong...
