I think it is a  2 x audio amplifier, but I could get any package
outline from my search so far.  Should not be hard to find out.

A comprehensive search on web for an M5218 has failed to turn up what
it is.
There are many equivalents listed in eg ChipDir and similar but none
of
these are findable either.

I followed one chain of equivalents to arrive at a package diagram
only but
it had grown 2 more pins! :-)
