Looking for description and pinout of an M5218L SIL 8 pin IC.
I have no idea of what it does but it COULD be a motor control IC.
I have found 20 odd in a parts box and it just might be useful to know what
they are.

A comprehensive search on web for an M5218 has failed to turn up what it is.
There are many equivalents listed in eg ChipDir and similar but none of
these are findable either.

I followed one chain of equivalents to arrive at a package diagram only but
it had grown 2 more pins! :-)

Any clues?
