Unless this chip is significantly faster than every other PIC,
the fastest conversion rate you can get is maybe 50 Khz ~ 20 usec.

What does the datasheet say about this? Something like 9.5TAD
with 2TAD pause between conversions, plus factor in amp settling
time, S/H time, etc.
