Alice, when T1OSCEN is enabled in T1CON,3 portc,0 and portc,1 becomes crystal inputs. caps you need to connect them in same way from each pin to ground. Yes I did it and I liked it very much. using 32.786khz crystal timer1 I configured to generate 1 second interrupt that wakes the pic from sleep.
