Hi Paul,

        Many TVs use a standard 4016 quad bilat switch (CMOS), they
are 14 pin but they are very cheap. Maybe 16c in bulk. They work
fine to switch audio and video.

        Not sure about sending the video down a long cable. If you use
a good quality low capacitance cable it might work.
