But I thought you could only have eight special characters. If you display some, then change them and display some more, does the display keep the original ones or are they changed? I have used special characters for doing bargraphs, but I only used seven I think. Martin > There is a function that allows you to design your own character on the = display. It is a h--- of a lot of bit-banging, but you could design your o= wn segment of a character. If you decide to use 2x3 characters on the disp= lay for one "big" character, you would have to design a 6th of that big charachter (practically) each time it is to be displayed.
