If you set the Scenix chip into "compatibility" mode. Honestly, the
advantages of running the Scenix in non-compatibility mode are enough that I
don't think anyone ever does this. The changes required are minor and can
just about be ignored by using the Al Milliams pic macros at
http://www.al-williams.com/awce/uchip.src
to convert pic mnemonics to sx code.

For more or less the same reasons, people pick up the low cost sx-key or
other debugging devices that take advantage of the SX's unique "built in
ICE" capabilities.

thanks for the info l will check out the software and see what its like as
programmers are programmers but the software makes a difference

can l run a pic program directly on a scenix chip...if compiled for
scenix...source compatible ??
