From: "Jason Harper" >Any chance that you're using the deprecated TRIS instruction to set the >port directions? I seem to recall that it doesn't work on ports beyond C. Damn! that just might be the whole problem or at least some of it...I won't know though until after I sleep. I've been up 24hours staring at a row of 4 red LEDs and when I close my eyes I still see them (flickering in the wrong pattern no doubt)...I think as soon as I sleep...first thing I'm going to do even before checking on my TRIS instructions, is change the damn RED to something else, green or yellow LEDs, so I don't end up using lego breadboards in the mental ward. Thanks for the thought. I just assembled one of the units using two 16c65b's to do the job of one! Both of them are using ports B and C (coincidence to the TRIS not working above C?) to do the job of a single chip's B C and D. Ahwell, it was only a $10 learning experience and I still have two OTP 65b's to commit working code to. -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
