Well, I considered all of these ideas, and Dwayne's was the neatest fit into my requirements (customer already uses 4013's). I built it, and it works like a charm! Dwayne is saying, 'of course it did, goof'. Dwayne goes to the top of my Christmas card list. I like Bob's transistor solution too. If I were a bit daring (IE persuade the customer that it really does work) I might jump on it. Thanks very much all!
