I had a GF that did this (among other bad habits we won't get into ) She was not a good problem solver (more a problem creator) - I ended up having to think out and present solutions to her (Not my normal style, but what works, works.) I gave her a page of big Red paper Dots. Told her, any clock she put a dot on, she was free to do with as she wanted - All others were MY domain. (We put the dots over the center axels, it's the concept that matters, not the implementation ) We figured a reasonable limit on how many dots she was allowed to use (we negotiated as needed, ended uphaving to buy a couple more clocks, big deal.) After that point, I honored the "agreement", both parts of it (I ignored 'her' clocks and made sure mine were set by WWVB / WWV perioducally.) Worked pretty well after a week or two; Took to wearing my watch for a while there. There're times to be 'ruthless' and 'merciless', I s'pose It improved the situation a lot...
