Hi,

I have a requirement for a system that mixes characters with video
information from a camera (PAL, 1Vp-p, Colour). This video signal then goes
to a monitor. The complication is that the image can be reversed at the
monitor (Horizontal flip). This then reverses the characters also. I need
either

1) Colour CCD camera (0 Lux, PAL) on PCB with horizontal flip option
(controlled remotely)

2) A device that can read a video line at a time and send it out backwards

3) An OSD chip or micro with OSD that must have either

    A) Character flipping (Left/right)
    B) User definable RAM fonts
    C) OTP programmable Font set

    The OSD should preferably have built in Sync generator to allow
    character generation in absence of video information.

    Also prefer composite in and out to avoid need for external
    RGB-Composite circuitry and video mixing circuitry.
