Hi Folks, I thought I would resend this email because I hadn't received any replies from my one this weekend announcing that I had put up an initial version of the EMU-II. This is a PIC16F87x based Emulator which does NOT use the internal Debug/ICD features of the chip - although it does use the built in Program Memory Flash read/write capabilitys of it. It is quite simple to build and should be a pretty good 18 pin PICmicro MCU emulator. It is source code compatible with MPLAB-ICD (which is to say that the first instruction of the pplication must be a "nop") but allows full use of PORTB. You can see the schematic (in PostScript) format, along with the source code and instructions for using the EMU-II at: http://www.myke.com/PICMicro/emu-ii.htm I'm anxious to hear what you think, myke -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
