Hi All, I need to interface a PIC based device with the PC printer port (either ECP or EPP mode, ECP is more preferrable, because it can work with DMA). The whole project is wriiten in the pure assembly language. Has anybody heard about such code freely available somwhere? Maybe any other hints (eg. flow-diagrams or other descriptions of communication procedures...) are available? I think that PSP in PIC16F87x is well suited for such application, but a lot of additional coding is necessary. -- TIA & Greetings Wojciech Zabolotny http://www.ise.pw.edu.pl/~wzab http://www.debian.org Use Linux - save your data and time -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
