That is a good site. I would strongly suggest a multi-sampling algorythm though instead of the one suggested at the site. I use to use the algorythm where I synced on the first edge and then measured the sime for a full bit. The problem came in when there was any noise on the data line (I am using RF here, so noise is very common). When I was using a direct connection, the link worked fine though and it was much easier to code than the multi-sample thing.
