I obtained an old Microchip PicPro from an flea market at MIT, but it did not come with any documentation or information of any sort. It is a Microchip PicPro 16C5X series programmer. Does anybody know of any software for it (Any operating system), or even what port it uses? The connector looks like a serial port, but it could also be a wrong gender parallel port for all I know. Microchip of course has offered me no support. There is no mention of "PICPRO" on the website and they do not respond to any e-mails. Any information regarding this peice of equpiment would be more then useful, as it is too light to work as a paperweight, and I'd had to have it be absoultely useless! -- Henry -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
