The one thing we hated was polyester resin (eg fibreglass resin or encapsulating resin) that had gelled and set in something it wasn't supposed to. Like an expensive glass reaction pot. We never found anything that would shift it, from organic solvents to conc hydroxides to chromic acid, which is a very very active acid. Ask my finger. Any comments on PE resin ?
