    Thanks for the responses to my other problems with the 18C252.
 The error I get when setting the option registers is thus:

Error[133]   C:\SOFTWARE\PRO.ASM 32 : Hex file format INHX32 required
Error[133]   C:\SOFTWARE\PRO.ASM 33 : Hex file format INHX32 required
Error[133]   C:\SOFTWARE\PRO.ASM 34 : Hex file format INHX32 required
Error[133]   C:\SOFTWARE\PRO.ASM 35 : Hex file format INHX32 required
Error[133]   C:\SOFTWARE\PRO.ASM 36 : Hex file format INHX32 required
Error[133]   C:\SOFTWARE\PRO.ASM 37 : Hex file format INHX32 required

Any clues as to how to sort it out.  I am using the commands to set the
option register as shown at the end of the P18C252.inc file.
