we are using microchip 25c080. microchip didn't have it in stock high temp once then we ordered it from atmel exact same part didn't work at all.I called Atmel they said it should work after all easiest solution was to wait. To me if you are using pic it is better to use with microchip memory.it is like mother and doughier. yha yha !!!.
