    I have used Linx (http://www.linxtechnologies.com) with some success. I
use the SC series for RS232 with the recommended Holtek (difficult to find
and buy) IC's. Works pretty good for data, reasonable for audio, remember
they are half duplex transceivers. Good luck. Also, just for data, Ming
modules from DigiKey work well. Not for Rs232 however.
