I have a short program in a 16F876 that doesn't seem to want to run unless I have the ICD connected and I'm in debug mode. WHen I do run in debug mode, it looks like I've got "stops" set up because it stops at several points in the code, even if I clear all the breakpoints. If I uncheck the debug option, it doesn't seem to run at all. If I check the debug option, then keep the cable connected, it seems to run ok. I'm just looking for some pointers in using the debug mode, setpoints, stepping, etc.. I will check the FAQ also.
