This is my first mail to this list..

I am going to develop a small PIC-based device hooked to 10BaseT.
I browsed through the PIC-list archive and found some very interesting
sites, for example
* The (unofficial) PICmicro On-Line Tutorial =

and Dennis Petrov's home page.

What I am looking for is an ethernet controller that is not surface =
mounted.
I am afraid that it is too difficult to sold surface mounted devices by =
hand.=20
My intention is to build everything on an experiment circuit board=20
(in my home country Sweden, these boards are called Vero-Boards).

So I wonder if anybody can help me finding an Ethernet controller which =
is
not surface mounted.
