Ok, I just got a very important ZIP disk (which I know has data from a ^#*^%@! MAC user ) and when I put it in the PC, I get a dialog box informing me that its not formatted and asking if I would like to do so. After breaking my finger getting the disk out of the drive before that could possibly happen, I remembered that this is what we get when trying to read MAC format ZIP's on a PC. I've spent the last hour trying to find a program on the net that allows one to read MAC ZIPs in a PC. I am amazed that I can't find the answer to this question at iomega.com or via google.com. All I get is "how to read your PC formatted ZIP disk in a MAC." Is this really a one way street? If not, why couldn't I find the info at the Iomega site? If you found it there, what keywords did you search for / page did you find it on? Failing all else, does anyone in the San Diego area have a MAC I could enlist to get this data transferred to some other format that the PC could read? hint: it would help the PICList. --- James Newton (PICList Admin #3) mailto:jamesnewton@piclist.com 1-619-652-0593 PIC/PICList FAQ: http://www.piclist.com or .org -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The PICList is archived three different ways.
