You are right about this. (The 430 has SERIOUSLY low power modes, though.)

But has anyone on this list (well who else am I talking to...) used the
MSP430? I'm using it in a design at the moment and noticed that the internet
is void of MSP430 information. Well there might have been some info in
German, but that excludes me. Can't count the TI site either.

It just struck me as odd. When looking for Atm*l, Mot*r*la, Zil*g, or other
heathen micros, I've always managed to find gobs of useless^H^H^H^Hfull
data.
