The other option would be to locate a newer BIOS for a similar (or the
same) board and use it. If you have a friend in a computer store he will
likely point you to the right heap of junk to choose from...

Downloadable ? Mhh. Cheapbytes Linux = $3.95 ? Or Mandrake 7.0 off a
magazine cover CD.
