Unfortunately, I don't think CCS offers a demo version of the program.  I
specified the compiler by looking at it's features on their website.  I also
got a better feel for the product by examining their example programs at:

If there is some specific item or program you would like me to try to
compile, I would be happy to show that it compiles or not with the latest
version of PCM available from CCS.
The compiler itself comes with a plethora of example programs which are
really helpful in bootstrapping a new programmer not used to C or PICs in
general.
