You CAN throw in something like mwillis-REMOVE-@-THIS-.foxinternet.net and many ISP's will let you post as the domain resolves (foxinternet.net exists) - The Piclist would indeed then reject your post, however. > > Anyway, there is also a list server command that allows any (member? > > anyone?) to request a list of subscribers. > > The list is configured so that only admins can issue that command. Especially since admins that do a REVIEW would get a list of > *everyone*, regardless of their conceal setting. And Conceal doesn't protect you from Archive scraping or subbing to the PICList, and gathering e-mail addresses that way. (Methinks erecting gallows at each major highway intersection may be THE solution to this problem, I know I could find volunteers to string 'em up. Theft of service is theft, even when it's petty on the per-person end of things, the sum total gets quite large.) I have yet to hear ANY response from MOT at all - I am NOT impressed. I'd expected at least an "it won't happen again", perhaps I should escalate this. > -- > Mike Werner KA8YSD | "Where do you want to go today?" > | "As far from Redmond as possible!" > '91 GS500E | > Morgantown WV | Only dead fish go with the flow.
