Four years ago I used a product called Paradigm Locate, it took the output of several DOS compilers and added some run-time stuff to make it embeddable. They have since packaged the software in with a bunch of stuff and called it paradigm C++. Check http://www.devtools.com/ for the list of all the stuff that Paradigm offers. I think that they have something that will get you where you need to go. -Mike -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Kunz [mailto:akunz@tdipower.com] Sent: Monday, July 10, 2000 10:43 AM To: PICLIST@mitvma.mit.edu Subject: Re: [OT]: GCC My goal is to compile an application on a Athlon that will run on an embedded 80186 (Am186 actually). The free Turbo C (http://community.borland.com/museum/) has already been suggested (by moi) thanks. You can get it at http://www.delorie.com/. -Mike -----Original Message----- From: Andrew Kunz [mailto:akunz@tdipower.com] Sent: Monday, July 10, 2000 10:16 AM To: PICLIST@mitvma.mit.edu Subject: [OT]: GCC Anybody know of a supported port of GCC for a '186? I need to replace this M$ crap with something that will do what I need in an embedded system. Thanks.
