Folks, I know someone here can help...... I need some assistance with some kind of impedance matching circuit for a = home audio system. I believe the old phono inputs (remember LP players?) had high impedance = connections, whereas the inputs for a tape or CD are lower impedance. I'm trying to feed a CD output into a Phono "port" on a stereo amplifier. = As it currently is, I get all sorts of distortion (sounds like it' s being = overdriven) Can I simply "pot down" the CD lines, or do I need to use transformers? Anyone have some circuits for such beasties? Many thanks in advance, Des Bromilow -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
