Hi, I can recommend the CCS PCM compiler almost indeed. I found only one nasty bug which is connected their home-made extension over K&R C on large RAM devices. Otherwise, the compiler does what I want. (I have the version 2.703). I would say the price/power ratio is o.k. The floating point support is a true bonus! Another advice is when using IDE: save often. I met occasionally runtime error 216 which lead to data loss (but it was caused ALWAYS by bad configuration of the callable programmer software).
