Hello Lance, Todd+Jean & all, > try this link: > http://polly.phys.msu.su/~zeld/oscill.html I've already tried this software, just can't remember from where I've downloaded it... It's sort of cool, but doesn't works so well. At least in my machine. I've talked with Robert Masta from Daqarta, and he says he's working on a new version of Daqarta with "exotic stimulus generation". The next version will probably do dual-trace with soundcards, maybe also with "lab-type data acquisition boards". I would ask everyone that have some interes on this topic to go to www.daqarta.com and download the www.daqarta.com/dqa.zip software. It's really good. Even works wonderfully on a 386DX40 that was getting dust on a corner of my lab! Web site says that it will work even with a 286!!! So, if you need an inexpensive and powerfull osciloscope and your waves arent above 20KHz (note 1), go ahead, download the software, register it (just US$29) and show the developer that you want it dual-trace with your board. Now, just if it works with BitScope... (well, I can dream :) Best regards, Brusque note 1: Well, actually it can do above 20KHz with other boards. Developer claims "35 kHz on a 40 MHz 386 CPU" using a printer port as a SAR (Successive Approximation Register) DAC! ----------------------------------- Edson Brusque Research and Development C.I.Tronics Lighting Designers Ltda (47) 323-2685 / (47) 9993-6453 Blumenau - SC - Brazil -----------------------------------
