My 17 year old purchased a used Play Station and wanted to add a mod to allow
him to play "ALL" the games.  Without starting a war here, aren't these mod
chips really 8 pin PIC chips (508 / 509).

If they are PIC chips where can you get the code for them?  Is it available
on the web somewhere or do you have to purchase these from a jobber who wants
a lot of money for a programmed PIC?
