Hi!, Well yes all drives (at least the ones I know) can play Cdaudio but
requires that some "unknown for me" commands over the IDE ATAPI protocol,
I was reading all about that, and now I have a good idea of how complicated
is the ATAPI protocol, someone, sorry don't remember who, point me to an
geocities place to a guy that do that, but it is in Italian and also seems
to be not finished, anyway I'm using it as starting point, very helpfull
stuff by the way...

I check this on my Sony CDROM drive and couldn't find anything like that,
the idea is to do something compatible to all CDROM drives so, if the
drive crash, I got another one for only 70 bucks (that cost in my country).
