Our gear was sometimes rolled in the surf or bashed for hours on end in rubber inflatable boats. As I said.. we learnt this the hard way. The only other metal I saw (but we never used) survive on energized gear was Monal (AFAIR?) metal. I cant remember what alloy it was but it was up to the task. _____________________________ Lance Allen Technical Officer Uni of Auckland Psych Dept New Zealand www.psych.auckland.ac.nz _____________________________
