But I'm not sure whether a PC, if used as a host, could accommodate anything like 31250. Depends upon the internal clocks and USART h.w. The scenix s.w. VP could probably be massaged to accommodate both 31250 and 38400, for example, if you try hard enough. 50Mhz/38400 = 1302 and 50Mhz/31250 = 1600. - Dan
