Hi All,

I'm going to use the old NE1000 NICs to connected the PIC 16F877 or 80552 based
Data Acquisition System to the coaxial ethernet network.
Does anybody has some experiences with those network adapters and uC?
(I know that some NICs used the PC's memory as a buffer, so they took
control over the ISA bus - something difficult to implement in the PIC
based sysytem. I don't know however if this is the case with NE1000)
